Good vs. Evil

So That I Can Become You
by Lori Curtis
Two of my biggest inspirations are My Chemical Romance and Grimm fairy tales. As a combination of beauty and fear, good and evil, powerful and intimidating, reality and fantasy, I created my design using Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf, as well as MCR's song, 'House of Wolves'. Red Riding Hood represented the good, the beauty, the power; the wolf symbolizing fear, evil, intimidation. Fantasy is never what it really seems, and, as most people say, good always prevails and evil will fall. The good is powerful, and just because one appears weak, that does not mean that they are not the ones that will fall. The evil is the lesser of the two, and the good prevails, and the evil falls. The evil acts as an illusion. As a side note, the title is based off of the wolf's reply to Red Riding Hood's questions, like "Oh what big eyes you have" "The better to see you!" Due to the German influence, an alternative title is ,,Damit ich dich besser werden kann" or "So That I Can Become You".
